Liz Walton
When we arrived in Greenwich in 1999, just before the Y2K bug that was meant to take us back to the early part of the century, I was constantly reminded of how tightly-held homes in Greenwich are.
I still think of myself as a relative ‘newbie’; families have been here for generations, kids go to school together and make lifelong friends. A trip to the shops usually takes longer than anticipated because of the number of acquaintances you meet and chat with.
All of which contribute to my desire to make this community as safe and as healthy as possible. You will find me advocating for (among others) low and mid-rise new developments, not high-rise, fresh grass instead of artificial turf, and the outlawing of Roundup in our parks and gardens.
I have a B.A. in political science and philosophy (arts) and a very eclectic working life, culminating in my most recent choice of natural medicine. I did a diploma in classical homeopathy 26 years ago and now practise from my home in Greenwich, with a wide and varied clientele.
