Karen Macalister-Hohnen
Karen and her husband Simon Hohnen found Greenwich as newlyweds in October 1988, just in time for the inaugural Greenwich Village Games. As migrants to NSW, they found a strong Community connection and made many strong friendships via school, sport, book clubs, neighbours and an annual street party.
Gore Street above the Bob Campbell Oval has been our home for 33 years with Archie our son and numerous local wildlife that have enriched our lives above the treetops. It is humbling to be part of a vast, natural green space as our backyard and so close to our vibrant city of Sydney.
