Emma Wilson
I am a first-year student at the University of Sydney, studying a combined degree in Law and Science, majoring in Environmental Studies, and a member of the Dalyell Scholars Program.
After finishing high school, I took a gap year in England, where I worked as a physical education teacher and travelled extensively throughout Europe. This experience strengthened my independence and deepened my appreciation for cultural diversity, inclusivity, and global perspectives.
In Year 11, I completed a research project examining the environmental implications of the Viva oil tanks in Greenwich, which sparked my interest in environmental issues and the role of law in driving sustainable change.
I am passionate about sustainability, sport, and youth empowerment, and I value creating positive, inclusive environments where young people feel supported as they grow and lead.
